National Association for Home Care
The National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) is a trade association that represents home care and hospice organizations in the United States. The organization was founded in 1982 and has over 33,000 members.
NAHC works to promote policies and programs that support the provision of high-quality home care and hospice services. The organization provides a range of resources and services to its members, including:
- Advocacy efforts aimed at promoting policies that support the home care and hospice industry and the patients it serves
- Educational resources and training opportunities for home care and hospice providers, including webinars, conferences, and certification programs
- Research and data analysis to help members stay informed about industry trends and best practices
- Networking opportunities for members to connect and share ideas and best practices
- Publications and other resources on home care and hospice, including newsletters, magazines, and books
NAHC also operates the Home Care & Hospice Financial Managers Association (HHFMA), which provides financial management resources and education for home care and hospice providers. The organization also hosts the annual NAHC Conference & Expo, which is one of the largest gatherings of home care and hospice professionals in the United States.
